The animation was done by the very talented Jeremy Fisher who also crafted the puppets.
We used coffee creamers and colored gels to make the practical stage lighting. There are also LED string lights under a gel combo beneath the grid to simulate hot coals.
Rough blocking and lighting.
The effect of a "Grill Stage" meant we had to bolt the puppets through the table.
The lighting design was relatively complicated.

We had our graphics team design the awesome graphic for the kick drum, but we ultimately had to remove it digitally due to a licensing issue.
Nobody cooler.
Drumstick drummer.
Re-positioning the stage lights does wonders for spacial relativity and making a shot more fun.
